The beef-related terror-case in which Deukryang-do’s cat, Do-do, carried out while everyone was asleep that morning.

The breakfast menu that uses the rest of the leftover beef?

<떡국: Rice-cake Soup>

Instructions:

1. Pre-soak the rice cakes to be used.
2. Wash the Welsh onion and add its roots to the broth used to make the soup.
3. Cut the rest of the Welsh Onions in similar lengths to be put into the soup.
4. (First, instead of the beef) Add the anchovies and dashima into the broth in the pot.
5. When the broth boils, leave the anchovies and Welsh Onion root while taking the dashima out.

[E-cipe: If dashima is boiled for too long, the broth turns sticky, so it’s best to remove it as soon as the broth boils.]

6: Transfer the broth to another pot without the dashima and anchovies.
7: In the same pot earlier, add sesame oil.
8: Fry the beef over strong heat in there.
9: Add the light-tasting Dashima and Anchovies broth in to make savory broth.
10: Add the pre-soaked rice cakes into the broth.
11: Add Korean-style Soup Soy Sauce to taste.
12: Add the Pre-prepared Welsh Onions too.
13: Add minced garlic and mix well.
14: Whisk the eggs and add them to a hot pan to make “jidan” (sliced fried eggs).
15: Gently, slice the soft fried egg.
16: Garnish the Rice-cake Soup with crushed seasoned laver and the Jidan.

It’s boring to eat Rice-cake Soup alone, we’ll let you know the recipe to make easy-to-make side dishes!

무말랭이 무침: Seasoned Dried Radish Strips

1: Add the dried radish to water to wash. Wash about 2-3 times until the water turns clear.
2: After blanching chili leaves for a bit, wash in cold water to prepare.
3: Squeeze water out of the dried radish strips that were washed to prepare.
4: Add just a little anchovy sauce!
5: Add some nicely-aged soy sauce too.
6: Add some sugar too.
7: Add just the right amount of plum [mae-shil] plum extract.
8: Sprinkle ample chili powder too.
9: Add the blanched chili leaves and mix a bit.
10:  For shininess and sweetness, add some corn syrup and perilla oil and mix once more.

Delicious and crispy Seasoned Dried Radish Strips is done!

Second Side Dish.

콩자반: Beans Cooked in Soy Sauce

1: Put the pre-soaked black beans into a stainless-steel bowl.
2: Add some aged soy sauce. Add more for a saltier taste.
3: To make it sweet, add sugar liberally too.
4: Boil it all until the “sauce” becomes sticky.
5: Once it’s sticky, add corn syrup. For a shinier and sweeter taste, add more.
